stablished in 1975, Triton Cruise Services has been in the forefront of Onboard Passenger services operating around the globe. Situated in the Port of Miami and having strong affiliations in Europe, allows Triton to meet any vessels criteria and/or special parameters to ensure the ship operator and also as important, the travelers needs are met.

 
 



Louis Pietro began his maritime career in 1955 as the Cultural Ataché - U.S. Foreign Service, American Embassy, Buenos Aires, Argentina till 1960. He then owned a Book importing business, which is where he developed his entrepreneur skills from 1961-1962. Between 1963-1969, he worked in the Latin America sales division of Pan American World Airways.

In 1969, he joined Ivanhoe International, Ltd. in the Port of Miami as General Manager supervising 500 employees responsible for full Hotel operations on board Norwegian Caribbean Lines' four vessels (SUNWARD, STARWARD, SKYWARD and SOUTHWARD) until he departed in 1972 when he started Trident International, Ltd. and formed a strategic partnership with Cunard Line until 1995 when Cunard Line was sold, ending a 23 year exclusive association.

Between 1975-1977, Mr. Pietro founded and was Director of Monarch Cruises until the vessels merged with Holland America's Line. In 1984, he formed Fiesta Cruise Line which later merged with SeaEscape in 1985; becoming a minority owner through 1991.

Mr. Pietro passed away on August 30, 2001, survived by his lovely wife, Virginia. Virginia Pietro continues his legacy as we move forward in the 21 century.
